Visit the Buzzarone winery, located in the countryside of Chieti, and discover their fine organic wines accompanied by typical delicacies of the territory.

With enthusiasm for generations, our family has been working to preserve the identity our territory, in the heart of Abruzzo. Our products enhance the peculiarities of the local terroir and convey emotions that only the taste and scents of grapes and olives cultivated and processed with wisdom and love can arouse.

I will guide you on a tour of our small family business; from our vineyards, we will follow the path of our grapes to reach the winery. From here, I will explain the winemaking process and finally, it will be time to taste the juice of our work. We will then conclude the experience with a tasting of Buzzarone's RUGGITO line, accompanied by chopping boards of homemade and/or locally sourced typical Abruzzese products.

You will taste:
1 glass Trebbiano d'Abruzzo superiore doc
1 glass Cococciola Abruzzo superiore doc
1 glass Pecorino Abruzzo superiore doc
1 glass Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo superiore doc
1 glass Montepulciano d'Abruzzo superiore doc

The accompanying charcuterie boards will include a selection of cheeses (cow and sheep's milk cheese) and selection of cured meats (prosciutto, donkey mortadella and ventricina).

Positive experience
My husband and I went to Cantina Buzzarone yesterday afternoon for the wine tasting tour. It was a wonderful experience thanks also to Gabriella, who told us the whole family history and showed us the vineyard, the cellar, and dulcis in fundo prepared glasses of wine to taste with cold cuts and cheeses. We also met Riccardo and his wonderful baby... Super kind and helpful people. Wonderful and peaceful place... with lots of greenery and so much peace... I strongly recommend trying this experience...

Passion for wine
The visit reveals all the passion that this family has put in over the years and still puts into the production of their wine.
Gabriela was very thorough in explaining the choices and the past history of the vines, recounting the events starting from Mr. Agostino's dream, finally realized by his grandson Riccardo.
The tasting was truly exceptional, each wine is explained in detail and paired perfectly with Abruzzese delicacies.

Family Wine
The hours spent here at the Buzzarone winery were fantastic. Gabriella was fantastic, not only in how she told us all about the family's life in the fields and the entire production process, but she was also excellent in guiding us through the tasting. I believe a stop at this winery is a must for anyone who truly wants to understand the Land with its fruits, passions, difficulties, and rewards. Nothing like the big, standardized companies that convey productivity and size but few emotions. An immersion I suggest!!!! Well done everyone, keep it up!
